We are planning a wedding and need a music selection that appeals to people of all ages. Can you do that?
No problem.  You have no idea how many songs there are that grandchildren and grandparents both know.  I have hundreds of them in my playlists.
 
What kinds of events do you do?
I can do all kinds of weddings and parties and it is my job to get people to dance and enjoy the music.  I can provide music for any kind of event (including background music).

 

Will our DJ act as an Emcee during our event?

Most of our packages include an Emcee and a DJ.  That is one of the great features we offer that is key to the success of your function.  Your Emcee will make all announcements and make sure that the night keeps on track according to your time line while the DJ is able to play the music continuously.

Infinite Sounds Entertainment will cater your wedding entertainment to your unique needs.  Every DJ in the area will play music for your event.  What makes Infinite Sounds Entertainment DJs unique is the planning and attention to detail we provide before and during your event.  It is the planning and attention to detail at your event that will help get your guests to the dance floor and dancing all night long.  This will ensure that your wedding or party will be one that you and your guests will remember for a lifetime.

 

Infinite Sounds Entertainment also offers planning tools that will allow you to communicate the details of your event.  When the form is received we will meet with you in person to make sure we fully understand your unique needs.  Infinite Sounds Entertainment’s attention to detail allows us to make sure nothing is missed and your entertainment is performed to perfection.

 

What types of equipment do you use?

Infinite Sounds Entertainment use the latest in professional DJ sound and lighting equipment.  The music library is digital and we have a very wide selection of the top hits.   The DJ setup is very professional and classy. 

 

Can you provide music and equipment for wedding ceremony?

Yes we can provide music for your Wedding Ceremony.  Some of our wedding packages include ceremony music.  We can play all of your wedding ceremony music as well as provide a wired or wireless handheld microphone to be used by your officiant so your guests do not miss a single moment. 

 

How long will the DJ play music?

The amount of time we play is totally up to you.  Typically a wedding reception lasts about four hours.  You can decide in advance how long you want us to perform and the price will reflect the time frame.  If you are having fun and want the DJ to play longer, you can purchase additional time the day of the event.

 

How early will the DJ arrive to set up?

Your DJ will typically arrive at least one and a half hours prior to the scheduled start time of your event unless other arrangements have been made.  It typically takes about forty-five minutes to set up, so this allows us to be set up before guests arrive.

 

What is your DJ coverage area?

We are located in South Jersey and will travel anywhere within the Delaware Valley and the tri-state area (NJ, PA, DE).  We would be happy to discuss with you providing our entertainment services outside our normal area.  It is possible for us to provide entertainment for your event if it is outside our area.  Contact us for more details.

 

What type of music do you play?

We have an extensive selection of music . We have everything from the 1940’s to today’s Top 40, Dance, Classic Rock, Country, Oldies, Big Band, Motown, R & B, Rap, Disco, and Hip-Hop.  There is something for all age groups.  We will discuss with you in advance what types of music you want played during your event and we will play only those types of music.

 

What types of music do you play during cocktail and hour dinner?

We have a wide selection of cocktail and dinner music in our music library.  We can discuss in advance what types of music you want us to play during this time.  We typically suggest mid to upper tempo music for cocktail hour such as Adult Contemporary (AC), Classic  AC, Motown, and Jazz or similar music.  For dinner, we’d suggest a mix of mid to low tempo music.  The music during these times is payed at a volume level that encourages guest socialization.  It is your event, so if you’d like a certain other type of music played, just let us know.

 

Can we pick songs for you to play?

Yes you can pick what music you what to hear.  Simply submit a list of ten to fifteen songs in advance that you would like to hear and we will play them.  This not only gives us great songs to play but also an idea of your musical tastes. You can even give us a list of songs, types of music, or artists you do not want to hear.

 

Can we provide a "do not play list" ?

Absolutely!  I never want to play music that would make the newlyweds leave the dance floor.

 

Will our DJ take guest requests?

Absolutely!  We’ll work with you prior to your event to determine the specific styles and individual requests that you’d like played. We’ll also encourage your guests to make requests (if you approve) to make sure we play the songs that you and your guests want to dance to.  We can even allow guests a way to request music through their smartphone!

 

If you prefer to not allow requests from your guests, just let us know. 

 

what if people aren't dancing ?

People love to dance at weddings, but if things do get slow, there are quite a few things the DJ can do.  My first reaction is to play music that will get the newlyweds on the dance floor.  Everyone wants to be where the happy couple is celebrating.

Are you the center of attention ?

Never!  I hope guests talk about things that reflect the services I provided, like how the dance floor was full and no one wanted to leave. 

 

Can you provide wireless microphones for the wedding ceremony, toasts etc?

Yes we do provide a wireless handheld microphone to be used during the ceremony and reception.  We also have a wired microphone that we keep as a backup.

 

How do you handle overtime?

If you are having fun and want your DJ to play longer, we would love to continue our performance.  You can purchase additional time by paying overtime at the beginning of the hour.  All overtime is purchased on an hourly basis and the cost for overtime is outlined in your contract.  You must discuss overtime with the venue first as you they may have an additional charge as well. We cannot play overtime without verbal consent from the venue.  Overtime must be payed via cash or check prior to the DJ continuing their performance.

 

How do you price your DJ services?

Every event we play is unique.  We created packages to reflect the unique needs of each function.  The price sometimes varies based on a few important factors such as the date of your event, how long you want us to perform, the equipment that you need, and location/distance of your event.  Simply call Infinite Sounds Entertainment to discuss your needs at 856-470-8272 or contact us. Then we can better put together a custom package to fit your exact needs.

 

Do you provide a written contract?

It is extremely important to have your booking confirmed in writing.  Infinite Sounds Entertainment will provide you with a written contract outlining the terms of your service.   We will sign the contract and send you a copy to retain for your records.  It is important to have a contract to guarantee your DJ services. I would never suggest booking any DJ service without a written contract.

 

Will you be available to answer DJ questions prior to our wedding or party?

Of course!  We will meet with you in advance, in person or via Skype, to discuss the details of your wedding or party entertainment.  In addition you will have my cell phone number and can call me at any time with any additional questions prior to your event date. You can also email us as well.

 

How does your DJ dress for a formal event?

If it is a formal event, we will wear a dress shirt, black pants and a tie.  We believe it is important to look professional during the event.  If the event is less formal we will dress accordingly.

 

How do we book your DJ services?

Call us, or fill out our online contact request form so we can discuss your entertainment needs.  We will put together an entertainment package based on your needs  that includes pricing.  Once you approve your package we will send you a online contract.  We require a 20% deposit with a signed contract to hold the dates for your.  Once the contract and the deposit are received by us we will hold the dates.  The deposit must be returned with the signed contract.  The balance is due at least 14 business days prior to the event date.

 

How far in advance do we need to book your DJ services?

Wedding DJs are typically are typically booked as much as a year ahead of time.  We would suggest you book your DJ as early as possible to ensure we are available.

 

How do we pay for your services?

Infinite Sounds Entertainment currently accepts checks and credit card payment.  Please make all check payable to Infinite Sounds Entertainment.

 

Is it customary to tip the DJ?

Gratuities given to your DJ are made at your sole discretion. 10%-20% of the total fee is customary for an excellent performance.
